French (oral sex)

Oral sex (from Latin os, oris "mouth"), also oral sex, is a collective term for sexual practices in which one sexual partner stimulates the genitals of the other with the mouth (the lips, the tongue, the teeth).

Basically, a distinction is made between two types of oral sex:

  • Fellatio, refers to oral stimulation of the penis.
  • Cunnilingus, denotes oral stimulation of the vulva.

Fellatio
The male genitals, especially the penis, but also the testicles, are licked, kissed and taken into the mouth with the tongue and lips for sexual stimulation. It is possible to stimulate the glans with the tongue by circling it. The same applies to the shaft and testicles. But it is just as possible to take the glans or parts of the penis into the mouth and suck lightly on them. Selective stimulation of the testicles is called teabagging.

A special form of fellatio is taking the erect penis deep into the back of the throat, which is only possible with (learned) absolute relaxation of the throat (see deepthroating). This variant of fellatio is considered particularly difficult if ejaculation is to be allowed. This requires a certain breathing technique on the part of the person receiving the stimulation, a high degree of attention and self-control on the part of the stimulated partner, and a great deal of empathy and trust on the part of both.

Cunnilingus
The female genitals, especially the labia, the vaginal vestibule and especially the clitoris, are licked with tongue and lips, kissed or taken into the mouth. Just as with the glans of the man, the clitoris can also be circled with the tongue and sucked on. Another practice is rhythmically touching the clitoris with the tip of the tongue. The vaginal entrance can also be stimulated with the tongue. By means of cunnilingus, it is easier to bring the woman to particularly intense orgasms because direct stimulation of the clitoris is possible.

Sixty-nine
"Sixty-nine", the position with the woman on top is considered the more common
. The mutual use of oral stimulation with both partners is called "sixty-nine" - comparable to the two Arabic numerals 69 (French: soixante-neuf).

There is basically the following variation in this technique: one person lies on top, the other on the bottom. The position on top is generally considered to be the more comfortable, as it gives better control. In a position that is equally comfortable for both partners, both lie on their sides.

Anilingus
Even though the anus is not one of the sexual organs, stimulation of the anus with the mouth or tongue, so-called anilingus, is nevertheless part of the oral sexual technique. It is also called "tongue anal" or rimming/rimjob. Anilingus ranges from cursory touching of the area around the anus with the lips to intense penetration with the tongue. The anus is a highly sensitive part of the body, occupied by many nerve endings, whose stimulation directly or through proximity to the genitals is perceived by many as very erotic. This is also possible in the sixty-nine position.
